Lynne Nelson, ESL teacher at Banaadir Academy was awarded a grant for books through First book.
First Book is thrilled, through the efforts of Lynne Nelson, to announce that the students and classrooms at Banaadir Academy received 538 books made possible through the generosity of Target, in celebration of the launch of Target Read With Me.
In support of this initiative, Target is donating one million new books to schools in all 50 states and the District of Columbia! As you read this, hundreds of schools across the country are joining you in receiving books.
These award winning books are sent home with the Banaadir students to keep at home and read.
