Poetry Out Loud

Poetry Out Loud is a national recitation contest that the students of MTS have the opportunity to participate in. Students will learn public speaking skills, build self-confidence, and learn about their literary heritage. The school-wide competition will take place on November 22, 2010. This is a great opportunity for students to take an active role in their education. Winners of the state competition will receive $200.00 and an all expense paid trip to Washington DC to participate in the national competition. Rewards at the national level total $50,000.00.
