Your children have been working very hard during this school year to improve their level of physical fitness. Our students have Physical Education/Health class 2-3 times a week for 40 minute periods, and during that period we work on many different skills. Some of the areas we focus on are fitness endurance, strength, and flexibility. We work on these areas daily in addition to many of their life skills like listening, manners and sportsmanship. We look to have fun doing this so that your children enjoy exercise.
As we go into Spring, I will look forward to being outside with the students and working on some of their sports and team skills while playing soccer, football and basketball games. As always, be sure your kids come to school ready for physical exercise! That means they need to have good tennis shoes that they can run in and clothes that they can move safely in without tripping. I look forward to continuing to work with your children and talking to you the next time you stop in!
