A dozen JROTC Cadets from the General Colin L. Powell Leadership Academy at MTCS High School spent the day at the Minnesota State Fair for Military Appreciation Day.
Between Pronto Pups and Sweet Martha’s cookies, these JROTC Cadets shared the mission of the JROTC program with interested fair attendees all day long. This was not only a great outing for outstanding students, it also helped develop important leadership qualities:
- Sharing a mission
- Sharing experiences
- Connecting with military professionals, veterans, and families
This event is just another example of the fun, interesting and important activities that are part of the General Colin L. Powell Leadership Academy all year.
