Sports Academy

In the Sports Academy, students will:

• Develop concepts of themselves and personal philosophy
• Learn the Fundamentals of Athletic Mastery
• Study careers relating to sports
• Design a personalized Academic and Athletic project.

Students may have the opportunity to:

• Earn their First Aid Certificate;
• Earn their Life Saving Certificate;
• Earn their MYAS Certification;
• Officiate league & tournament play.

Activities may include, but are not limited to:

• Attending pro sports events
• Coaching elementary teams
• Officiate at games
• Announcing games
• Video taping games
• Recording stats
• Overnight retreats
• Visiting Vikings practice
• Frisbee Golf
• Work with a personal trainer
• Team competitions
• Indoor and outdoor sports

The Sports Program includes:

• Field trips
• Speakers
• Career exploration
• Nutrition
• Core Academics
