Who are our students? Kids who have a true interest in video, music & sound, and/or graphics, students who are serious about digital media as a career choice and young people who are ready to jump-start a career while in high school – through certifications, internships, and post-secondary training.

Areas of Study:

Advanced Music and Sound:
Students of all skill levels study music theory, digital production and engineering, sound for film – using Pro-Tools software, the industry standard for recording and engineering sound. Students create original pop, R&B, and hip-hop beats for a DMA produced CD. Students who successfully complete this class may earn DMA certification in Pro-Tools.

Rock-n-Roll High School:
Students learn all aspects of the business of performing live music and promoting a band. You need not be a musician to be a member of this class as the band needs engineers, promoters, managers, media specialists, and even equipment managers. Students create a band and the promotions surrounding it, including demo CD, T-shirts, stickers, and posters. Students perform live at area coffee shops, cafes, and other music venues.
