Special Education Advisory Council

The Minnesota Transitions Charter School (MTCS) Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC) is a committee of MTCS staff, parents and guardians, and community members. The purpose of this council is to advise the MTCS district leadership and special education department on issues related to special education services, educational programming, and opportunities for students with special needs.

MTCS SEAC goals:

  1. To provide guidance to MTCS district leadership on issues related to special education student programming;
  2. To advocate for the education, programming, and success of students with special needs; and
  3. To support, inform, and provide resources to families of students with special needs.

MTCS SEAC meets annually at the MTCS District Office (2872 26th Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55406). The committee is always looking for additional members.
