Independent & Virtual Summer School

MTS has amazing and flexible options for earning credits this summer. There is a school-based Independent Study program as well as a virtual program where you work at home.

Have an MTS SUMMER!

MTS offers the most versatile summer school program in the Twin Cities with more time, flexibility and choice, Kindergarten through High School.  Learn, have fun and earn as many as 6 High School Credits!  There are two sessions, June 18 – July 6 and July 9 – 27.

High School Summer:

Amazing, flexible, opportunities to catch up on credits, learn new skills, find paid work and keep learning this summer for grades 9 – 12.  Motivated?  You could earn as many as 6 credits at MTS this summer.  Read more

K through 8 Programming:

MTS has several great free programs for students in kindergarten through middle school.  Whether you’re looking for extra learning and focus or just plain fun and activities – MTS has the perfect program for your student.

There are several options for K-8 students:

  • In collaboration with the Boys and Girls Club in North Minneapolis, MTS offers a special Summer Enrichment Program for students K-8.  This program meets at the Boys and Girls Club in North Minneapolis and mixes hands-on education and learning with fun summer activities and offer extended day program.   Read more
