In the spirit of the National College Decision Day, Banaadir Academy recently celebrated its 2024 graduates with a special event where students shared their plans following graduation. Many students have committed to post-secondary schools, with a few still weighing their options.<\/p>\n

It was a special day to honor all the hard work this graduating class put in to get here. Not only did these seniors navigate the standard ups and downs of high school, but they overcame the challenges of a pandemic, and so many of them will be first generation college students. Banaadir is proud to celebrate each and every one of them.<\/p>\n

Banaadir staff have worked with each student to help them find and secure scholarships and opportunities\u2014many students will attend college tuition free! Students are planning exciting study and careers: orthodontics, information systems, pre-med, construction, nursing, social work and more. Everyone is excited to see what they do in their futures!<\/p>\n

Following this event, the Seniors walked through the halls of their school in cap and gown while their classmates cheered them on and wished them well. Then they visited Banaadir Elementary to show their younger peers just what\u2019s possible with focus and hard work.<\/p>\n
