What is your favorite hobby?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I love to go running.<\/p>\n

If you were a super hero, what power would you want to have and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I would want to fly so I can travel anywhere. If you could fly, what would you do? I would fly to South America.<\/p>\n

What is something most people don\u2019t know about you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I played saxophone in my college marching band. I performed at every Wisconsin football game from 2002 to 2006.<\/p>\n

Did you always want to be a teacher? What did you want to be instead? <\/strong><\/p>\n

I wanted to be an artist, a cartoonist and a writer.<\/p>\n

Would you like to be a cheerleader?<\/strong><\/p>\n

No! I love being a teacher at Banaadir!<\/p>\n

What is your favorite hobby?<\/strong>
\nMy favorite hobbies are playing and watching basketball and going to the beach.<\/p>\n

If you were a super hero, what power would you want to have and why?<\/strong>
\nI would want the power to fly because I could go anywhere I wanted and I could go somewhere where there was warm weather.<\/p>\n

What is something most people don\u2019t know about you? <\/strong>
\nI don\u2019t really have any secret talents but an interesting fact is that my brother lives in Hawaii and I love Hawaii. It is my favorite place and I have been there 5 times.<\/p>\n

Did you always want to be a teacher? If not what did you want to be instead?<\/strong>
\nYes I always wanted to be a teacher!<\/p>\n

Do you like teaching? <\/strong>
\nYes I love teaching, Especially at Banaadir!<\/p>\n

Why did you become a teacher? <\/strong>
\nI love learning and want other people to love learning! I like to see kids learning new things and I like working with kids. It is also a fun job to come to everyday and it is always different.<\/p>\n

Is there anything you would like to add?<\/strong>
\nI love Banaadir!<\/p>\n

What is your favorite color? <\/strong>
\nTurquoise polka-dot with a burnt orange background is my favorite color.<\/p>\n

If you had a super power, what would it be? <\/strong>
\nThe power of invisibility would be my choice of super powers, but lately I\u2019ve been thinking that I would like even better the chance to actually become Batman. So I guess my favorite and my best super power choice would be morphing into Invisible Batman.<\/p>\n

Where do you live? <\/strong>
\nI live in north Minneapolis.<\/p>\n

What is your dream house like? <\/strong>
\nMy dream house is a tree house overlooking the ocean, most definitely, absolutely, and without question.<\/p>\n

What are your hobbies?<\/strong>
\nI like to make quilts, investigate in the woods, experiment with foreign foods, and search the neighborhood for trampolines to jump on. Just kidding. My nieces have a trampoline that I can use whenever I choose.<\/p>\n

How long have you been at Banaadir?<\/strong>
\nThis is my sixth year at Banaadir.<\/p>\n

Who is your favorite student? <\/strong>
\nI care about all my students\u2014truth. I might like them for different reasons\u2026 I might think one is the funniest, another is the kindest, another is the best critical thinker, and another is outstandingly creative, but there is genuinely something I like about each of my students, and therefore they are each my favorite in some aspect.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
