This kind of sharing takes place every day in the classrooms and hallways of MTS Elementary. Also built in to the school year are special <i>Friday Family Day<\/i> explorations where students share in activities in cross grade groups.  Students (and staff) get the chance to learn from each other in new ways.<\/p>\n<p>One of the really amazing things about MTS Elementary is how it partners in the community, with artists, authors, musicians, dancers, readers and all kinds of people who share their talents and gifts with very eager K-6th graders.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEveryone does better when we share our gifts, talents, and energy with each other,\u201d said Principal Dornfeld.  \u201cIt helps us not only learn, but build community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Recently, some of the members of the sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma from the University of Minnesota came to read at a Reading is Fundamental event.  They read to the kindergarten, first and second grade students and donated several boxes of books. Everyone had a great time! \u201cI looked around and saw a lot of joy!\u201d Said MTS Elementary Principal, Sue Dornfeld.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-sep-clear\"><\/div><div
