On Wednesday, March 29th<\/sup>, over 20 MTS GCPLA JROTC Cadets supported the annual Junior Achievement (JA) \u201cJA in a Day\u201d event at\u00a0MTS Elementary. The Cadets provide students in grades K-4 experiential learning JA programming which focuses on financial literacy, career readiness and entrepreneurship. MTS GCPLA has been supporting the JA in a Day experience at MTS Elementary over a decade, everyone really enjoys the experience.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Not only does the JA in a Day opportunity allow elementary students to connect what they are learning in school and the real world, it also provides the High School Cadets the opportunity to enhance their leadership and personal development skills while helping make a difference in the community. The connections with the high school Cadets do so much to help the elementary students succeed in school and beyond – it\u2019s incredible.<\/p>\n<\/div>
