The safety of our MTCS community remains a priority.  <strong>All MTCS programs will be in distance learning for Wednesday, 4-21-21, Thursday, 4-22-21, and Friday, 4-23-21.<\/strong>  For the three days noted, no one is to be on site, all staff and students will be in the distance learning model working and learning from home.  Because your safety is a priority, we will utilize the distance learning model, Wednesday, 4-21-21, Thursday, 4-22-21, and Friday, 4-23-21 and approach the days to come with caution.<div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep\" style=\"align-self: center;margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;margin-top:10px;margin-bottom:10px;width:100%;\"><\/div><\/p>\n<p>With the verdict upon us, we continue to recognize and acknowledge the host of experiences, injustices, outrage and more impacting our communities.  We will continue to stand together and push for a society that is free of oppression and rid of the social injustices destroying humanity.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep\" style=\"align-self: center;margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;margin-top:15px;margin-bottom:15px;width:100%;\"><div class=\"fusion-separator-border sep-single\" style=\"--awb-height:20px;--awb-amount:20px;border-color:#e0dede;border-top-width:1px;\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-2\"><p>Dear MTCS Community,<div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep\" style=\"align-self: center;margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;margin-top:10px;margin-bottom:10px;width:100%;\"><\/div><\/p>\n<p>It is with grave concern that this communication is being written. As we continue to advocate for all students, families, staff and community throughout these trying times, we are confronted, yet again, with the systemic injustices running rampant in the world we live in.  The death of Daunte Wright is an unacceptable tragedy that serves to highlight, again, the sense of urgency for us all to contribute to the societal changes needed to bring about a more just and equitable society.<div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep\" style=\"align-self: center;margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;margin-top:10px;margin-bottom:10px;width:100%;\"><\/div><\/p>\n<p>Humanity is suffering and the injustices will only continue to destroy us if we are not committed to taking action, today, as well as each and every day we walk upon our very planet. <b>Minnesota Transitions Charter School (MTCS) does not tolerate the systemic injustices we continue to see so very prevalent in our communities.<\/b> Our GLBTQ+, Black, Brown, Indigenous, and Communities of Color are valued, welcomed, and each and every individual matters.<div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep\" style=\"align-self: center;margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;margin-top:10px;margin-bottom:10px;width:100%;\"><\/div><\/p>\n<p>For far too long oppression has gripped the very people we live amongst, love, and seek to educate as a means of bringing about a better future.  There is no doubt that we all have a long and challenging road ahead of us.
