Another new, exciting activity at MTS High School is the Hispanic Heritage Club. Students meet during lunch hour in the Spanish resource room. This past week they discussed plans for events and activities for Hispanic heritage month, which is May.

Plans so far include: showing a movie in Spanish, having a special assembly where students will work to tackle some stereotypes, invite special speakers, and students will present poetry and essays. Students will design posters to advertise the events (come back here to the website in the next weeks, to read about all the activities as soon as they’re scheduled).

And if you are interested in ordering a t-shirt for the Hispanic Heritage celebrations, you can email Carly at ccody@emailmtcs.org and let her know what size you would like and she will let you know the price. You can see what it looks like below.

MTS High School is committed to student success, and this is just another way we create community and support our students.
