MTS Elementary Sixth Graders recently enjoyed their much anticipated egg drop. With scientific notions and theories in mind, student teams worked together to create a haven for an egg to fall, whose shell could survive being dropped from about four feet, then from the top of a ladder, and finally with their teacher’s outstretched arm, from the school’s roof.

The eggs that fell into their safe places fared well. We won’t share the stories of those eggs  who fell to the sidewalk! Let’s just say there was much laughing and delight. Who knew science could be this fun?

MTS Elementary, where learning is personal.
