MTCS Families,

Here are a few important things for you to know this week.  Tuesday, March 17 is an E-learning day.  Teachers will be available to you and your student to support learning online.  After Tuesday, MTCS schools will be closed from March 18 until March 27, with no E-learning.

We are creating a hub area on our website with links to resources and help which will be ready soon.  In the meantime, if you do not have internet service in your home, we want to make sure that this information gets to you right away—Xfinity/Comcast is offering special WiFi internet access services for 60 days for low-income families.  All new customers will receive a free self-install kit that includes a cable modem and WiFi router, and there is no term contract.

To sign-up:
-Call 1-855-846-8376 (English), 1-855-765-6995 (Spanish)
*There is an option for video chat with an ASL interpreter, located on the website listed*

Also all MTCS schools will have boxed breakfast and lunch available to be picked up between 9-11 am every day this week, through March 20.  We will also provide links to all sorts of community resources including food, for your students, later this week.

Finally, United Way’s 211 First Call for Help, is planning to stay open 24/7 and are an amazing resource.

Together, we will get through this situation.
