The elementary school has a unique location in Northeast Minneapolis with a thriving garden and DNR School Forest. As a fun, special Fall project, MTS Kindergarten students picked apples, peeled apples and made homemade applesauce to serve nearly the entire school. It was delicious.
Each classroom enjoyed an opportunity to pick apples and vegetables from the garden. This is just one of the ways MTS Elementary offers students amazing learning experiences all year round.
