MTS Elementary went to the Afton Apple Orchard on their annual fall field trip. At the orchard they learn about growing and caring for apples and how to make apple cider. They then go through the apple orchard and pick three apples. The hayride continues to the Pumpkin Patch where everyone gets to pick their own pumpkins-some are very small and some are huge.
After lunch everyone goes to the farm petting area where kids are able to feed the llamas, baby goats and sheep. The weather was perfect. When we returned to the school teachers and students were exhausted and smiling.
