More than 35 students received first semester awards of achievement for their academic work and student activities. Noting excellent, academic achievement and significant contributions, teachers personally presented these awards at a school assembly.
Four JROTC students were acknowledged for their essays on the 100th anniversary of JROTC.
Calvin Ford was named a “Writer to Watch” and for Scientific Inquiry. Tyrese McNeal and Arirani Apaez-Ponce were acknowledged for Outstanding Citizenship.
