P.E.A.S.E. Academy Director, Michael Durchslag joins a panel discussion at a White House hosted event on Wednesday, September 20th at 1 PM ET.  September is National Recovery Month and the event will focus on the strength of the recovery community and power and inspiration those in recovery have to inspire others.

The Summit will be livestreamed here starting at 1 PM ET on September 20th and will feature stories and insights from people in recovery.

Along with leading P.E.A.S.E. Academy, Michael Durchslag is also the Board Chair of the Association of Recovery Schools, a national organization whose mission is to support and inspire recovery high schools for optimum performance, empowering hope and access to every student in recovery.

As the director of P.E.A.S.E., the oldest recovery high school in the nation, Michael is a passionate and leading expert on youth and recovery. He is committed to finding and creating ways to provide more resources and awareness to the issue of youth substance use and misuse and supporting students on their journey to a healthy life where they can thrive.

Michael is one of the foremost experts in the country on the issue of youth addiction.  His continued positive impact, dedication and commitment to young people every day will be a strong addition to this important panel conversation.
