Cedar-Riverside kids come out, promote MTCS at Open Streets Minneapolis

Cedar-Riverside residents in Minneapolis learned about MTCS Charter Schools and made drawings to promote them during the Open Streets Minneapolis celebration on October 1.  MTCS set up its promotional booth and teachers and staff came to answer questions and talk to people about the schools.

Student desks were in place with drawing materials and a lot of candy.  A dunk tank with a separate booth across the street gave people the opportunity to put community leaders under water.

MTCS employees from Banaadir Academy and Banaadir South helped to manage the crowd of kids.  One set up appointments with prospective students and their families for the following week at the new school in south Minneapolis.  Marketers shared about Powell Leadership Academy, and several MTCS schools.

A drawing was held for a $100 gift card to Target.

MTCS thanks the staff members for their efforts.
