The Indigenous Education Committee began in 2019 to create a program to support the unique needs of our Indigenous families. We are excited to engage and connect our students and families!

Great education and cultural exploration can go hand-in-hand and is at the heart of the MTCS Indigenous Education program. We believe unique, important cultural sharing can inform and motivate students and families and create connections and community that lead to greater success in school. Simply put, exploring our own history can help inform decisions we make today.

We will be offering regular programs, opportunities to connect with experts and others to help students and families explore their indigenous heritage in and out of school.
