Greetings from the Board of Directors!
The Board of Directors is continuing to work hard on behalf of MTCS. This last month we wrapped up our Strategic Planning for MTCS as well as taking the first major steps in our Superintendent/Executive Director search. Thank you so much to those that took part in the Strategic Planning Committee! We had productive and informative meetings, the final draft will be presented to the Board for adoption soon.
The Board of Directors met on March 31st and made the decision to request 4 candidates to participate in interviews with the Board of Directors. We are anticipating 2 rounds of interviews for this process, however should the Board feel strongly that we have 1 standout candidate we may choose to forgo a second round.
The first round of interviews will be Tuesday April 12th and Thursday April 21st. There will be two interviews each night with the first beginning at 5pm, and the second at 7pm. Second round interviews are scheduled for Thursday April 28th. These interviews are open for the public to attend and listen. Each interview will also be broadcast as well via zoom. Our hope is to select our next leader by the end of April or in early May.Thank you for your interest in the work the Board of Directors is undertaking.

¡Saludos de la Junta Directiva!
La Junta Directiva sigue trabajando fuerte en nombre de MTCS. Este último mes terminamos nuestra Planificación Estratégica para MTCS. Igual estamos en los primeros pasos importantes en nuestra búsqueda de Superintendente/Director Ejecutivo. Muchas gracias a los que participaron en el Comité de Planificación Estratégica. Tuvimos reuniones productivas e informativas, el borrador final será presentado a la Junta para su adopción pronto.
La Junta Directiva se reunió el 31 de marzo y tomó la decisión de solicitar a 4 candidatos que participen en entrevistas con la Junta Directiva. Vamos a tener dos rondas de entrevistas para este proceso, pero si la Junta considera que hay un candidato destacado, podemos optar por renunciar a una segunda ronda.
La primera ronda de entrevistas será el martes 12 de abril y el jueves 21 de abril. Habrá dos entrevistas cada noche: la primera comenzará a las 5 de la tarde y la segunda a las 7 de la tarde. Las entrevistas de la segunda ronda están programadas para el jueves 28 de abril. El público podrá asistir a estas entrevistas y escucharlas. Cada entrevista se transmitirá también a través del zoom. Esperamos seleccionar a nuestro próximo líder a finales de abril o principios de mayo.
