Congratulations, Jeff Monsrud.
Have you heard? MTCS is on the move. Not only are our academics and programs improving and expanding, we are also investing in new student activities for students to be even more involved and engaged in their school community. Here are just some of the new activities we have added district-wide: HS Choir, Girls’ Volleyball, Cross Country, and more are coming.
To help expand the opportunities at MTCS, Jeff Monsrud took the lead as our new Director of Activities. Jeff is not new to the District, as a MTCS High School teacher for more fourteen years he brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for MTCS.
Being a teacher at MTCS brings important benefits:

- He is committed to education – no learning, no playing—activities add value to learning, but education is the cornerstone of what MTCS is all about.

Jeff coached and played many sports in the past and looks forward to working with students in new ways. He knows that good activities and competition helps develop teamwork, commitment, discipline, health … to name just a few and that students, together will build skills, commitment and experiences that can benefit their entire lives.
His mission, and the mission of the Activities at MTCS is simple:
To inspire and develop excellence.
