JROTC Cadet Creed

  • I am an Army Junior ROTC Cadet.
  • I will always conduct myself to bring credit to my family, country, school and the Corps of Cadets.
  • I am loyal and patriotic. I am the future of the United States of America.
  • I do not lie, cheat or steal and will always be accountable for my actions and deeds.
  • I will always practice good citizenship and patriotism.
  • I will work hard to improve my mind and strengthen my body.
  • I will seek the mantle of leadership and stand prepared to uphold the Constitution and the American way of life.

JROTC Code of Conduct

  • A cadet will not lie
  • A cadet will not cheat

  • A cadet will not disgrace the uniform

  • A cadet will not create discipline problems

  • A cadet will not issue unlawful orders

General Colin L. Powell Rules of Leadership

  • Rule 1: It ain’t as bad as you think. It will look better in the morning.
  • Rule 2: Get mad then get over it.
  • Rule 3: Avoid having your ego so close to your position that when your position falls, your ego goes with it.
  • Rule 4: It can be done.
  • Rule 5: Be careful what you choose – you may get it.
  • Rule 6: Don’t let adverse facts stand in the way of a good decision.
  • Rule 7: You can’t make someone else’s choices. You shouldn’t let someone else make yours.
