MNVS 8th grader shines at National History DayAddie, MNVS 8th grade student, and her friend, Rachel participated in the National History Day  competition at the University of Minnesota, with their documentary: The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari: How One Silent Film Changed the Art of Cinema Forever.  They won second place for documentaries.  What an honor!  The win also qualifies them to go to Washington, DC this summer and compete nationally, as well as staying in the dorms at the University of Maryland.

What an exciting opportunity after so much work on their documentary.  “It was SUPER exciting and made me feel proud!” Addie said.  You can watch their documentary here.  Congratulations Addie and Rachel and we wish you success at the National competition.
