It is with great pleasure to announce Brian Erlandson has accepted our offer to be the next Superintendent of Minnesota Transitions Charter School. The Board voted last night to accept the terms of his 2 year contract which was signed this morning making it official.
He is currently the Principal of Franklin Elementary in the Anoka-Hennepin School District where he has spent nearly 20 years in education. He brings vast experience working with a diverse student population, providing strong instructional leadership and creating systems and processes for sustaining school improvement. He will bring increased accountability as we all work collaboratively to move the District forward.
Please join us in welcoming Mr. Erlandson to the MTCS family. His official start date is July 1, 2018; however, you may see him prior to this in your buildings, as he is very excited On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to our students and families.
