MTS Middle School

Students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades are prepared for core, high school subjects and introduced to the concepts that will lead them to one of MTS’s many secondary options.

MTS Middle School offers computer integrated curriculum and instruction. Students utilize computer assisted learning to improve academic skills. Computer skills, keyboarding, and the use of Microsoft Office, including word processing, power point, and spread sheets, are incorporated into all classes. Hands-on learning provides the students with the opportunity to build electronic equipment. Past projects have included radios, RC cars, headphones, and telephones.

We offer several other features as well, such as:

• Small Class Sizes – Classes average 15 students per class.
• Academic Achievement – MTS provides basic skills remediation and honors classes.
• Special Education – Services are provided
• Title 1 – services in Reading and Mathematics are also offered.
