There are a lot of wonderful community activities at MTS Elementary, and one of the most special events is the school’s annual event: Reading under the Stars.
This year, the MTS Elementary gym was transformed into the beautiful outdoors under nighttime skies. With tents full of pillows, blankets and flashlights, and twinkling lights, students came into the gym with a favorite book, found a cozy spot inside a tent or around the campfire and read.
Some students partnered with a favorite teacher or staff member. Stories came alive in the magical twinkling nights—building readers for a lifetime.
