COVID Quarantine / Isolation – District Procedure Change

Dear MTCS Community,

We are excited to shift our COVID-19 District Plan to be in alignment with the updated Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines that were recently released.  The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) and Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) are in support of these updated guidelines that allow for a reduction in isolation and quarantine timelines.

We will be implementing these updated guidelines across the district effective today, January 10th, 2022.  We look forward to the opportunity this shift provides us in helping to keep students and staff in the school buildings in a safe manner.

It is our primary focus to keep everyone safe and healthy within the MTCS community.  We will continue with the already established mitigation strategies that we have in place and appreciate your support in our fight against the spread of COVID-19.
