Where Are We Now: P.E.A.S.E. Alumni Tim RivardI started at P.E.A.S.E. just after my 16th, birthday I was going to a suburban high school that had already deemed me a failure. I struggled with school on just about every level and was making choices that we’re getting me into exceptionally dangerous places. The connections I made with my peers and the staff at P.E.A.S.E.  fundamentally changed the trajectory of my life I learned so much about how to be a decent and honest person.

They lead me into recovery and held me accountable like no one could with where I was at 16. Now at 39 I still have very solid connections to those same people I met when I was 16 by far the most important people I ever met. Today I’m a barber making a comfortable living doing my best to inject positivity into my clients’ lives. I’ve been a homeowner for 8 years here in Minneapolis. I’m also the proud father of an exceptionally talented 15 year old daughter.

All in all, I look back on my time at P.E.A.S.E. as the turning point of my life when the trajectory changed from one of gloom and doom to where I am today.
