At MTCS, the Indigenous Education Program hoped to create space for our schools to learn and observe Orange Shirt Day, Every Child Matters (also known as National Day of Remembrance for U.S. Indian Boarding Schools.) Through this work, our Indigenous and Native communities were honored, their stories uplifted, and our school community was given an opportunity to learn, reflect, and stand together in remembrance.

Thank you to everyone who supported the work by wearing an orange shirt on Tuesday, September 30th.

Pilamáyaye, Miigwech, Thank You
