Bringing our mission to life:
At MTS Elementary we are walking our walk and talking our talk.
So far this school year:
- Open house/back to school night – best attendance ever!!!! Over 100 guests
- 2nd annual all school Vikings vs. Packers football game – Packers won 7-28
- Dinner with the principal – three families and a few students shared a good dinner and great conversation
- Held our dedication ceremony to announce our designation as an International Peace Site – students, staff, family members, our Color Guard from JROTC, students from MTS Secondary and our Superintendent all came together for this momentous event
- Children’s Theater fieldtrip – all school to see Circus Abyssinia
- All school assembly – weatherology
- Fall title 1 night – information sessions – low attendance 17 guests
- Student recognition low attendance – 2 families
- Friday afternoon extension activities – students working on Minnesota History projects, hand writing, math and literacy with site and district staff
- Student leadership team
- Student bus safety team
